What To Expect
We know walking through the doors of a new church for the first time is enough to send most people over the edge. Don’t worry. We’ve been there and know that taking that first step is a big deal and can feel a little awkward. We believe that God really cares about people so we try to go out of our way to make sure that your first experience is the absolute best it can be. Every weekend, you’ll experience a couple of things:
We believe corporate worship is a dialogue; a sacred exchange between God and man. It is man ascribing worth (worship) to God, and God responding by encountering us with His glory and presence. Worship, in music or posture, is the consummation of the relationship. In marriage, it isn’t enough to live my life in front of others like I’m married; I have to engage with my spouse. Worship in music and song is simply a love language of God. We clearly see it in Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4 and 5. Worship around the throne of God is unceasing. The closest thing to Him on the throne is worship because it’s the only appropriate response to His greatness and holiness.
Relevant Teaching from the Bible
New Beginnings believes that the Scriptures are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man and that they are the infallible, authoritative rule of our faith and our conduct in everything we do. So, needless to say, we take God’s Word and the teaching of it very seriously, and you will always hear a relevant and passionate message from the Bible that will help transform your faith!
